Bienvenidos! Greetings from San Pedro Sula, Honduras!
Up at 6.30 for a 1.40 flight - you go figure. 20 people and lots of luggage. We left Saint Andrews and survived rush hour traffic to Miami. That was an
accomplishment in itself.
Baggage check-in in Miami was interesting. Taca Airlines -
we had to wait while they changed the rubber band (kidding).
Arrival in Honduras was wonderful. Linked up with those lucky
ones that flew in on American and those that did Easter in Guatemala.
The drive from the air port to Our Little Roses was a journey
through contrasts, past shacks, a jaguar car dealership,
horses roaming free on the side of the road. |

The reception at OLR was nothing less than spectacular. No flair,
no bands, just wonderful kids all smiling and hugging and loving.
There were bicycles and games of tag, aerobics and just good times
with long overdue reunions and instantaneous friendships.
A great way to start. |
