The Faith Seeking Ministry
at The Chapel
The Faith-Seeking
Journey meets on Sundays at 9:15 A.M.
Faith Seeking Journey is a way our parish
gives newcomers
and existing members tools for the journey to new life in Christ -- to
baptism, confirmation, reaffirmation, reception from another
communion, sponsoring a child for baptism, marriage.
The Faith Seeking Journey begins by
giving participants a chance to ask questions and learn the story of
the people of God in the Episcopal Church, in your church. The
participants model spiritual formation through bible study and small
groups. They are guided in prayer through Lent and discernment
through Pentecost.
A cross, the Creeds, The Lord’s
Prayer, a Bible and a Book of Common Prayer are gifts to the
participants and tools that will help them on their journey. The
Faith Seeking Journey was written and published by The Rev. Steve
Zimmerman. Manuals are available for the team and for participants.
