To one there is given through the Spirit the message of wisdom, to another the message of knowledge by means of the same Spirit, to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healing by that one Spirit. 1 Corinthians 12:8-9

Healing Ministry at the Chapel

Parishioners at the The Chapel of Saint Andrew believe strongly in the healing power of the Holy Spirit -- both for the healing of mind, spirit and body. Examples abound among the congregation of those who have overcome illness, discomfort, depression and troubled times -- and attribute that recovery in large measure because of the prayers they received from friends in faith.

Some of those ministries include:
Prayer Team: Put the name of a friend, loved one or stranger on the prayer list for regular remembrance in our week. Contact the Chapel office at 561-483-8044 or Marcia@ChapelStA.org.

The Sacrament of Holy Unction: Congregants are offered the sacrament of the laying on of hands on the first Sunday of each month during  the 8:00 a.m., 10:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. services and every Wednesday at the 11:00 a.m. service. Contact the Chapel office at 561-483-8044.

The Order of St. Luke the Physician: Jesus commissioned his followers to "Go into all the world and preach the Good News of the Kingdom of God, and heal the sick." The Order of St. Luke is a Christian healing ministry and fellowship of 1) professional people in all phases of medical work,  2) clergy in the ministry of the Roman, Orthodox, Anglican, and Protestant Churches, and  3) lay people from all walks of life who believe that the healing ministry of Jesus Christ belongs in the church today. If you'd like to get involved in this ministry, please contact Father Steve at the Chapel at 561-483-.8044.
