483-8044 no later than Noon on Mondays. For facility
reservations for meetings and events, please contact Marcia
Gibbs in the office.
Pledge
and Offering
Our budget requires $8,000 per week
to fund the Chapel's programs. The offering for June 15 was
$3819,73. Pledge cards are
available in the back of the Chapel or in the office. Please remember the
Chapel in your giving.
PLEASE NOTE THAT DURING CONSTRUCTION THE CHAPEL
OFFICES WILL BE LOCATED IN THE YOUTH BUILDING.

Partner
Form
Please
return the Partner form that you received recently in the
mail from the Chapel. We are excited about the upcoming
programs and need your help. If you did not receive one call
the office to see how you can get one.
Sunday School
Sunday
School for children meets during the 10:30 service in the Brock building. Tracy
Dickey is the teacher and she is looking forward to meeting you and your
children. Come on over for a great time!

Adult
Education Class
Father
Steve conducts a Christian Formation class on Sunday
mornings at 9:15 am in the Youth Building.
Call the office if you are interested in attending or need
more information. Everyone is welcome.
Ordination
Anne
Harris will be ordained a priest on Sunday, June 22 at 4:00
pm at the Chapel. A reception will follow in the Parish
Hall. All are invited and welcome to join in the
celebration.
Cursillo
News
The
next Women's Episcopal Cursillo #101 is scheduled for
7/17-7/20 and the next Men's Episcopal Cursillo
#85
is scheduled for 9/25/-9/28. Both will be held at the Duncan
Center in Delray Beach. If you are interested in attending,
please call Nancy McKirchy. If you are interested in serving
on the women's team call the office for more information.
Home Fellowship
The
Tuesday night Home Fellowship group is taking a summer
break. It will begin again in the end of the summer.
Home
Fellowships are gatherings that include coffee and dessert,
conversational bible study and good fellowship. Childcare is
provided. See
Father Steve if you are interested in being a part of a
small group or would like to start one.
Music
Ministry
The
adult choir is meeting only on Sunday mornings during the summer. We begin at
9:50 am in the choir room. If you would like to join our summer group please
talk to the director.
The
Chapel invites all who are interested in music or drama to
join one of arts ministries at the Chapel.
(choir, handbells, or drama). Contact Jan Daniels for
more information. During the school year, the Adult
choir rehearses on Thursday nights at 8:00 pm in the Parish Hall Choir
room. The adult handbell choir rehearses at 7:00 pm. No
experience is necessary for the groups.
Drivers
Needed
The
Chapel is often in need of drivers to take people to doctor
appointments, hospital treatments and make pharmacy
runs. If you can help please call the office.
Family
Promise
We
will be hosting a family for Family Promise in
December. Many
supplies are need for the family while they are with us.
Donations can be bought to the Youth Building. Please pick
up the list of needed items on Sunday at church. Also
volunteers are needed to help support the family while they
are with us. A host congregation has several things they
need to do. Please call Faye Somers with questions.
Prayer
Chain
If
you would like to become a member of the Chapel Prayer Chain

Outreach
Outreach
meetings will be held on the first Thursday of each month at 6:30
PM in the Youth Building. All are welcome to
join us and help those less fortunate.
The
first Sunday of each month is Brown Bag Sunday. The ushers
will distribute the bags during the service and
you are to fill the bag according to the directions on
it. Return the filled bag on the third Sunday of the
month and needy people form St. Lawrence Chapel and/or the
Palanca Pantry will receive it.
The
Palanca Pantry at Holy Redeemer has advised us that they
need used refrigerators. If you have one to donate please
call the office.
Daughters
of the King
On
the first Saturday of every month, the Daughters of the King
meet at Eileen Cisco's home at 8:30 am. Call the church for
directions.
If
you are interested in joining the Daughters of the King
prayer ministry please see Betsy Wenzel. A new class
is beginning soon.
Planned
Giving
Please

Missions
Will and Cheryl Harman will
lead a short term mission team of 12 people to Madagascar
the end of March 2009. Join us for an unforgettable
experience.
